I’ve just been reminded of a useful article by Martha Roberts, a freelance journalist, which appeared in the Daily Mail early in January this year. It’s worth reading at:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-1344638/Collaborative-family-law-Why-divorce-neednt-hard-do.html
Martha gives a candid account of her own collaborative divorce; it’s a great advert for how the process can work well for people who know they cannot live together but still want to be able to communicate in a constructive way for their own sakes and for the sake of their children. Martha found her way to the collaborative process by chance, as a result of a random Google search, which highlights the need for collaborative professionals to work harder to make it known.
I invite you to read Martha’s article and consider passing it on.
